Reviewing bc everyone seems to have mixed feelings but I thought this was cute; the audiobook helps, I think. Wee bisexual adhd Scottish girl & her silly goose Lebanese boyfriend lmao. I dnf'd the 3rd book in the series & don't think I missed out for it, this was the cutest of the series.

When TikTok says an audiobook is good & you panic buy with an audible credits and then you're kinda stuck with it but it turns out to be pretty funny even if it isn't your usual genre 😵‍💫 goofy n weirdly cute

The first book took place in a prison, in the form of a retold story. This one is epistolary, more or less. Good but also probably should have read it with my eyes and not done the audiobook.

Honestly I used the first two books to fall asleep to at night for a week and you could sleep for an hour and miss zero plot. Made the mistake of listening during the waking hours to finish this one and DNF'd with an hour of the audiobook remaining. 😩 The whole series gave me the ick but I was being brave trying to power thru 

Whenever the MC didn't have prior textual understanding of a subject, she'd find time somehow by– mid story– to reflect on how earlier that day it week she did some reading or net with an expert off page. 💀✋🏻 Randomly she had to know how to pick locks, thus she had already learned by consulting with a lock smith who of course said she'd have a career ahead of her as a thief if she wanted. What? Ok

I was listening to the audiobook and couldn't connect at all with the voice actor
