Oh, my heart! This was so good! I loved the story, the writing was lyrical and yet filled with wry humor, the narration was great too- each character felt distinct but not over the top. It took a beat to get used to it, but once I did, I loved the changing narrators. It felt like I got to see a bigger slice of the world than if we had just stayed with K. Highly recommend!
Dnf @ 9%, couldn't deal with the racism and misogyny. Might be a great story but not where I want to spend my mental energy.
Dnf @49%, the Christian morality felt like being hit on the head with a lead pipe... It's too bad, the premise was fun.
